606 Club London Re-Opening Dates Plus Livestreaming Thursday (Natalie Duncan) & Saturday (Brandon Allen)

News From The 606 Club London
The last performance at the Six before lockdown (aka 'The Before Times') was Jim Mullen & his Trio (Mike Gorman-keys & Jon Scott-drums) on the 16th March. Therefore we thought it fitting to open the Club again with Jim! Not only has he been one of the most acclaimed and influential guitarists on the UK scene for some decades, he is also been performing at the Club for about as long. For those who can't join us in person on Thursday, we'll also record and then stream the performance on the following Saturday; even as the Club welcomes audiences to its premises 606 Online is here to stay, so full 'stream' ahead!
We'll be updating the 606 website will all the relevant information (though you can go ahead and book now - just select the date of your choice). One other thing we'll be adding to the website is a description of the measures we have instituted to protect customers, musicians and staff - it is imperative that all of us remain safe and well! For example, the maximum capacity at the Club will now be 70 people to maintain social distancing. We've also introduced an innovative "traffic light" system to prevent congestion at customer loos, and there will be clear plastic screens in front of singers to eliminate any risk of aerosol transmission.
At the moment, we will maintain a Thursday through Sunday schedule, but that will be open to review as circumstances change.
Thursday 6 August: Jim Mullen Organ Trio
Friday 7 August: Dave Lewis Quartet
Saturday 8 August: Ed Jones Quartet
Sunday 9 August: Jo Harrop
